Before we start

Anything built before 2000 is treated as containing asbestos until a survey says otherwise, and on a domestic job that survey is ours to arrange, so we raise it at the quote.

A Section 80 notice goes to the council six weeks before we start, and we serve it and wait rather than risk it.

Party wall notices to the neighbours, and a photographic schedule of condition before anything comes down.

Gas, water, electric and telecoms capped off and certified by the providers before a machine touches it.
Taking it down

Soft strip first, so fixtures, timber, metal and glass come out to be recycled instead of going into one mixed skip.

Structures taken down in a planned sequence, not just pushed over, with propping where the design needs it.

Waste clearance
