New roofs, re-roofing, flat roofs, leadwork, chimneys, gutters and storm damage repairs across Surrey and Berkshire, with a free written quote before any work starts.
Pitched roofs
-
Strip and re-cover, or a repair where a repair will genuinely do. We get up and look first, then tell you which one your roof actually needs and why.
-
Plain tiles, interlocking tiles, natural and fibre cement slates, on new battens and a breathable membrane.
-
Ridge and hip tiles mechanically fixed to BS 5534, not bedded on mortar alone, which no longer meets the standard.
-
Loft ventilation kept clear as we go, so a warmer, tighter roof does not leave you with condensation instead.
Flat roofs
-
GRP fibreglass, EPDM rubber or torch-on felt, chosen to suit the deck, the falls and how much foot traffic it takes.
-
Decks lifted and checked rather than covered over, because soft boards will telegraph through any new covering.
-
Falls set to run water to the outlet, with trims, upstands and drips detailed to shed it clear.
-
Rooflights, hatches and pipe penetrations flashed in properly, as that is where flat roofs leak.
Repairs and upkeep
-
Slipped tiles, storm damage and leaks traced to the actual source, which is often a flashing or a valley rather than the tile above the stain.
-
Lead flashings, valleys, soakers and chimney work, in lead of the right code rather than mastic and hope.
-
Gutters, fascias, soffits and downpipes cleared, repaired or replaced, since most damp walls start with an overflowing gutter.
-
Scaffold or tower access as the job needs, and the ground sheeted and swept before we leave each day.

We get on the roof and look before we price anything. A patch and a full re-cover are two different jobs.
